Taylor Kitsch Wants To Play Gambit Again!

on Thursday, March 8, 2012

While promoting his upcoming Disney film, "John Carter", actor Taylor Kitsch mentioned that he would love to reprise his role of Gambit from "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" in his own spin-off reboot.
This is what he said, “But I’d like it to be done right. I’d like to go real dark with him”. I really can't see why he shouldn't get a chance to play Gambit again in his own film, because obviously Reynolds is getting to do it with Deadpool, even though it's going to be a complete reboot of the character and will be different than the version he portrayed in the "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" film.

Rambo Will Die In Last Film!

Finally, Sly Stallone has confirmed that he's returning to the "RAMBO" universe for one last time. It's been on and off saying that he was going to do it and then there was news where he wasn't going to do it and now he's confirmed it himself in an interview that he is going to do it.
The only bad thing is that while confirming that he will be returning for a "RAMBO V", he did say that he will kill John Rambo off at the end of the film to end it all off for good. Rocky went out with a boxing match in the final film, "Rocky Balboa" and now Mr John Rambo will goes in a blaze of glory and die like a true hero. I generally think it's the best thing Stallone could do. This just means that no one can do a "RAMBO VI", "RAMBO VII" or a "RAMBO VIII", unless they reboot it or something.
This is what he said when asked if he was going to kill off Rambo. All he said was one simple word, "Yeah"The good thing is that he mentioned what the films plot would be about, "I'm dying to do another Rambo. He's in Arizona on the border. It will involve him going into Mexico. I don't think Rambo likes Mexicans."

On-Set With "Doctor Who: Series 7" Filming!

Naomie Harris Really Playing MoneyPenny?

This has been a massive rumor since it was announced that Brit actress, Naomie Harris had signed up to play a major role in this years "007: Skyfall". This rumor comes and goes saying that Harris has signed on to play the new version of MoneyPenny, like the way Ben Whishaw has signed on to play the new version of Q.
She was in an interview with some magazine and mentioned that she wasn't playing MoneyPenny at first, but then slipped up near the end and said this, “There will certainly be some exotic locations, but as Miss Moneypenny I’ll probably get no further than Pinewood Studios!”
So is this Harris saying that she is playing MoneyPenny or is it just a typing error or something? We'll probably find out soon before the films release or even in the first teaser trailer or something.

Could "Halloween 3D" Be No More?

It looks like the upcoming 3D sequel, "Halloween 3D" has been possibly shelved again by the studio behind the long-running horror franchise. The 3D sequel was meant to have been placed back on track and set for an October 26, 2012 release date, but no it seems it's been held back now. It's now got a "TBA" note next to it on IMDB.com, the online movie site.
It is yet unknown how long the unmade film will stay under "TBA" or wether or not "My Bloody Valentine 3D" director, Patrick Lussier or writer Todd Farmer will stay with it either.

My "RoboCop" Fan-Casting!

on Monday, March 5, 2012

Now I know the new Robo has been cast, but I still want to do my own "fan cast" featuring my own casting of not just Robo himself, but the whole entire film too. Now I'm casting this film with a slightly older cast than what the upcoming reboot will do with a much younger cast. So let's stat with RoboCop.
Timothy Olyphant As RoboCop
I've always stuck by Olyphant. I'd cast Olyphant in pretty much anything that comes up. He never get's the best of roles. He needs to be appriciated a lot more. This is why I've cast him, because in "Hitman" he was insane and had robot-like movements, which was amazing.

Idris Elba As Sgt Reed
British actor, Idris Elba would is the only black actor that I know that would be perfect for the role of Sgt Reed. And basically that's it on this role.

Jeffery Dean Morgan as Clarence Boddicker
Morgan is a bad-ass motherfucker!!! He would totally destroy Robo when he gets his hand on him. I could cast him as Cain for a reboot sequel too. Or just switch it all around and have it that Cain and Clarence are working together in the new reboot.

Malin Akerman As Officer Anne Lewis
She's hot and she fits the role of Robo's right-hand partner. I just want to see her running around in a police uniform too.

Jackie Earl Haley As Emil
Haley looks very similar to the guy who played the original Emil. He's short, bald, strange looking facial hair and has an earring, so he'd be perfect. He's Clarence's right hand man.

Martin Sheen As The CEO Of OCP (The Old Man)
Martin Sheen is old enough to play him and I just thought fuck it, he'll do!

Tobin Bell As OCP Vise President, Dick Jones
Tobin Bell looks as though he can act like a cocky bastard, so I gave it a try and cast him as Dick Jones in the upcoming reboot.

Garret Dillahunt As Leon Nash
I just think he plays great villains in TV shows and films, hence why I'd cast him in this as a villain and the only villain character left is Leon Nash, Clarence's other left hand man.

Michael C Hall As Bob Morton
And finally we come to the creator of the RoboCop programme, Bob Morton. I would seriously cast "Dexter" star Michael C Hall in the role of the creator.
